Hello and welcome to the First Annual Bar Olympics!

Since 2005, The Bar Olympics has brought an amazing crowd of people year after year, for a weekend of good friends, good food, bar games, and of course some beer. This year technically marks the 7th Bar Olympics event, for all of you who are counting, but 2011 is the first year we'll actually be raising money for a good cause.

Last year the Bar Olympic committee was approached about hosting the Bar Olympics through a non-profit organization which would allow us to donate any proceeds to a charity of our choosing. With your blessings during last years event, we're proud to announce that this year WE'RE DOING IT!

Proceeds from this year's Bar Olympics will be donated to the charity Wisconsin Parents of Blind Children which is a subsidiary of the National Organization of Parents of Blind Children. "The purpose of the National Federation of the Blind is two-fold—to help blind persons achieve self-confidence and self-respect and to act as a vehicle for collective self-expression by the blind." – Official NFB Site
