Bar Olympic Game Rules

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OUTSIDE!

Darts

  • Bracket order is the order for players to play in.
  • Play 4 players/teams at a time.
  • 501 Double Out for singles
  • 701 Double Out for doubles
  • You can only use Bar Darts
  • In the last round, the lowest score will determine 2nd then 3rd place.

Foosball

  • Play in the order on the bracket. Top player/team drops first.
  • NO SPINNING!
  • Round Robin Play will determine medal contention.
    • Record Score after each Round Robin Finals match
    • In the event of all 3 teams going 1-1 versus each other a point system will determine the places
      • You are awarded points for how many you won by but you also lose points for how much you lose by
      • The highest amount of points gets 1st and so on.

Video Games

  • Order is determined by bracket order
    • Buck Hunter:
      • High score wins
      • Final round is 4 people
        • 2nd and 3rd place are determined by scores
    • Golden Tee:
      • Lowest score wins
      • Final round is 4 people
        • 2nd and 3rd place are determined by Great Shot Scores
    • Video Bags:
      • High score wins
      • Final round is 4 people
        • 2nd and 3rd place are determined by scores
    • Video Bowling:
      • High score wins
      • Final round is 4 people
        • 2nd and 3rd place are determined by scores

Shuffleboard

  • Game is timed so please keep your games going
  • Points during each round are determined by cancellation
  • A hanging puck does not count as 5 points
  • Games go to 15 points
  • First to 15 points wins the game
    • No penalty for going over 15 points
  • If the time runs out on the game board, the team with the most points wins
  • If a puck stops between two numbers, the players decide or find a committee member to make a judgement call

Pool

  • Bar Cues only
  • Bar Rules
    • The team listed first on the brackets racks and breaks.
    • Table is open after the break, regardless of what balls drop.
    • You must make contact with one of your object balls before touching an opponents ball in order to have a complete shot.
    • If the cue ball does not contact one of your object balls before an opponent’s, you lose your turn.
    • Call your shot (call if using another ball to complete shot).
    • On a scratch, shoot from the kitchen. (NO BALL IN HAND)
    • If you scratch on the 8 ball and the 8 goes in = GAME OVER.
    • If you scratch on the 8 and the 8 doesn’t go in, the game continues.
    • Missed Shots:
      • If you miss completely miss on the break, the opposing player decides if you get a re-rack or if they take the break.
      • If the rack does not split on the break, the opposing player decides if you get a re-rack, or they take a re-rack and then break.
      • If you miss twice on a break or the rack doesn’t split twice, the opposing player takes the break and the second person on your team is the next person to shoot on your team.
  • Jumping is allowed
  • Round Robin Play will determine medal contention.  Record Points after each Round Robin Finals match
    • In the event of all 3 teams going 1-1 versus each other a point system will determine the places
      • As the winner, you are awarded 1 point for each ball left on table at the end of the game
      • The highest amount of points gets 1st and so on.

If you are needed and we are unable to find or reach you, you will have 10 minutes to show up or you will be disqualified from that event your are needed at.  If it is a doubles event then a sub will fill in for you the remainder of that event.  If you leave make sure you inform a Committee  Chairman listed below.  This obviously exempts people that are playing  another event.

Any participant of the Olympics that gets out of hand will be put on probation the next year.   If the said participant again gets out of hand he/she will be suspended and possibly kicked out.  Remember this event is for fun and Charity.  Any new members participating are automatically on probation.
